The ladies of our class meet on Sunday nights and are called the HERoes. Each Sunday night they meet in a different location (Starbucks, Cumberland Grill, etc.) from 5:15 to 7:00.
Nehemiah Class taught in Room 206 off the CLC Balcony. A Study of the Holy Scriptures open to all ages. The class focuses on one book of the Bible at a time and searches for God's message in the Word and how His message, from both Old and New Testament, apply to us today.
Newcomers is taught in the House closest to the Church, just off the overflow parking lot. The class meets to ponder God's word together in an informal, small group setting. This class is ideally suited to folks interested in studying the scriptures and seeing how they might fit into our life's journey. We especially welcome newcomers, whom we hope will find a fun and interesting group of people committed to deepening our discipleship together.
Searchers Class is taught in the left room in the Sanctuary. This is a discussion style class using Bible based literature.
SOS is taught in Room 119 in the hallway that leads to the choir room off of Heritage Hall. This class consists of couples with tweens, teens and recently graduated children that often underscore the subjects of our conversation. We delve into the historical context of the Bible to wring out the message God has for us. We are currently studying the book of 1 Samuel, particularly the reign of Saul and the rise and fall of David. Our next study will probably be a video study by Ben Witherington.
